TAVR Vessel Deformation Tracking
An accurate dot tracking software and force detection set-up is proposed to measure vessel displacements and forces during TAVR procedure simulations using a catheter and an anatomical model of the femoral artery.
Our anatomical test model
Repeated data collection for push forces and recording visual vessel displacement.
A dedicated force-detecting device and customized recording set-up is being used to capture key data.
Edwards Lifesciences testing facility
Scientific collaboration with Edwards Lifesciences.
anatomXX and Edwards Lifesciences are collaborating to create a system in which vessel deformation and force tracking can be analyzed.
Dot tracking and color thresholding
Successful detection of centroids and distances between them.
Using MATLAB, anatomXX is able to calculate tangible data, such as displacement in (mm), about the deformation of the anatomic vessel.
